THE RIVER COURSE
The River Course stands on the opposite side of Saxmundham Road to the Clubhouse and Championship Course. It has nine interesting holes with challenging, sloping greens and a selection of par fours and par threes with beautiful views over the River Alde.
There are no bunkers, but stands of old pines, gorse and other natural hazards combine to make the course a challenge to the experienced golfer whilst still being entirely suitable for the beginner or novice.
COURSE INFOMATION
The River Course, a nicely balanced nine holes, that offers a challenge both to experienced and novice golfer. It overlooks a wide, sweeping reach of the Alde river with wonderful views across the marshes and its abundant bird life.
This is a beautiful place to play some relaxing golf. The course presents sufficient challenge to interest the accomplished player but can be enjoyed by the beginner or novice.

- Three and fourball play permitted
- Clubs for hire from the Professional’s Shop
- Payment of The River Course green fees does not provide access to the Clubhouse or its facilities
