The eighteenth is a fine finishing hole which runs gently uphill. It is usually played into the prevailing south-west wind so normally plays quite a bit longer than its yardage. Care needs to be taken with the tee shot with bunkers left at 240 yards and right about 260 yards, which will be more in play for the longer hitter when the wind is blowing. The second shot has to be considerably more accurate to a long, narrow green guarded by bunkers to the left and right. The green is over 35 yards long with a couple of subtle tiers, so check the colour of the flag before playing your second shot.
